Just wanted to remind you what the world would be like if it wasn’t for our houses and other comforts.

Nature is scary, and the way animals have adapted to our suburban and/or concrete world never ceases to amaze me. Pigeons are the roaches of the bird world. Your dog? A pack hunter at heart. Your kitten? A stone cold killer. This one is a true story. I once saw my sister’s cat, who was sitting on the roof of our house, pounce on a bird that was flying by. He then rode it into the ground forcing it to take the brunt of the fall, finished it off, and dragged it away presumably to be eaten.

It was magnificent. Anyhow, I don’t normally do color strips on Friday but this one was fun so I thought, “Why not?”
