Bed Head

“You look like Medusa.”

Has anyone ever told you this when you woke up in the morning? It’s something my dad says to my sister all the time. The longer my hair gets though, the more I encounter this saying myself. Hair can do crazy things when you’ve been laying on it for hours. None of my roommates have ever actually said this to me, but I always did wonder “What if…?”

Rest assured, I am not a female Gorgon by morning and I will not turn you to stone at the mere sight of me.
