Imagine this scenario for a moment. It’s really an endless nightmare.
There’s a study that shows that when people suddenly come upon large sums of money unexpectedly, they will just spend the everloving crap out of it until they have nothing left because they are under the impression that “There will still be more after I buy this.” They just nickel and dime everything away and tend to be surprised when suddenly they can’t pay the bills. Happens all the time, and I figured Emery would probably be guilty of this as well. How exactly I came up with this idea for possibly the most trivial thing he could waste his money on I don’t exactly remember, but I think it was one time when I was stumbling around in a huge bathroom looking for a light switch or something, wondering why it was placed on the farthest wall imaginable.
Yeah, it’s better that Jonatron is in charge of the money. That’s always been the natural order of things, and it served them pretty well in the past.

Is Emery manipulative or was that just a lucky guess as to what would keep Jonatron from walking away? I wouldn’t give him that much credit. It was probably a lucky guess. So I changed the fonts back to the old ones because some people said they were tough to read. Sad day, but I’d rather these strips be legible than flashy. What do you all think? Is this better?
This will probably conclude the “Standing in front of a house talking” portion of our story. I had another strip or two to insert here, but I dropped them because with less updates per week I felt like this was dragging out. So that’s that. Now the real fun begins.

Wow, Emery sure didn’t see that coming. Such language in this post.
I guess if you think about it, those guys do have some pretty good reasons to hold grudges against each other. Cesar got turned to stone once though, and he’s not mad. Perhaps he’s just more forgiving than everybody else.
Don’t forget there’s a double update today! (because the last update totally slipped my mind.) Which reminds me, the Daily Texan schedule is official. It looks like I’ll be updating Mondays and Wednesdays this semester, with maybe the occasional color comic on Friday or other cool stuff. I hope nobody’s disappointed by having one less update per week. It actually works out better for me because I have much more to do this semester than usual. I’m on track for graduation, yo.
